This is why I hate restaurants !!!

I love to go to resturants since from my college days...I love to taste different type of continental food...But now a days I am not much interested to go restaurants...May be I am listing few things Why I hate resturants ....

1. High air-conditioning: Yes, I faced this problem after we shifted from Bangalore to Mumbai. It's hot and humid outside ... But do we really need to keep our winter clothes handy year round just to come to your restaurant? We noticed that the fancier the restaurant, the chillier the room temperature. At Mumbai Blue Rings for instance, you wouldn’t regret bringing a dohar/pullovers to a mid-July lunch. A 20-degree Celsius gap between outdoor and indoor temperature is a recipe for illness.

2.The multi-cuisine menu: There are probably few places in the world where small local restaurants can successfully prepare Indian, Chinese and “Continental,” a category of food that appears to span a geographical area from Italy to California without resembling the cuisine of any place in particular. We understand that in small tourist towns, food joints need to appeal to a wide variety of people. But in a large city, it’s silly to try to be all things to all people. We end up with confusion.... But once we’ve sampled everything on the table, we realize we can’t really tell the difference.

3.Ask for menu cards :Why the waiters are always snatching the menu card once we ordered the food...May be the fact is this Multi cuisine menu makes confusion if we see the card for a long time......We find waiters very obliging, until we start investigating the differences between dishes on the menu.

4.More waiting time: why they took more to deliver the food?...this is the trap...U can order masala Papad,,juices to kill the waiting time....Of course they love to make profit man as they are into business....

5.The feedback form: What better way to end your meal than by filling out a tedious questionnaire? This form typically asks you to rank food, service and ambience on a scale of one to five. Diners are often lured to fill it in by the promise they may get a free meal for their birthday or wedding anniversary. This is a trap: How many free meals can you possibly have on your birthday, anyway? More often than not, what you will get is a string of emails promoting a special festival meal or similar – which you are regularly reminded to book by mid-October, lest they run out of places. If we’re not asking for the feedback form—or the manager—after paying, that’s probably a good thing, so please just let us go.

PS:May be they can ask our permission and then give the feedback form...I have filled the same restaurant feedback form 2 times in a week..
